Also does it give a good workout and do you recommend 8” or 14” sleeves?” style=”arrow”]I’ve had mine for about a year and it’s great. I love it. Really hits the middle back muscles, the 8 inch sleeves are perfect, 14 in would be way too long. hope this helps.
Answer #1 on July 18, 2014[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”So without the Olympic sleeve, it holds the smaller plates?” style=”arrow”]Katie, as others have said, if you remove the olympic sleeve it will now fit standard plates/ones that have 1″ hole diameters.
Answer #1 on November 14, 2016[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How far apart are the handles?” style=”arrow”]The handles are adjustable.
Answer #1 on October 29, 2019[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How much weight (total in lb) does it hold?” style=”arrow”]I’ve put the Olympic plate adapters on it and 250 lbs so far. No problems
Answer #1 on March 11, 2016[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does this have the Body Solid lifetime warranty?” style=”arrow”]in-home to the original owner – yes.
Answer #1 on December 28, 2018[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I’m 5 ft 4 inches. Is this a good fit for me?” style=”arrow”]It has multiple adjustments so you should have no problem with this.
Answer #1 on October 3, 2016[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does it come ready for Olympic plates?” style=”arrow”]The Body-Solid GSRM40 Seated Row Machine comes standard with weight posts designed for use with Standard sized plates with 1″ diameter center hole. For conversion to use with Olympic plates with 2″ diameter center hole it is recommended to purchase (2) Body-Solid OAS14 14″ Olympic Adapter Sleeves
Answer #1 on July 20, 2016[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can this hold 5 45’a on each side?” style=”arrow”]It should be able to.
Answer #1 on October 25, 2018[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is using one arm at a time a comfortable and smooth. Or is it just designed for two arm movement?” style=”arrow”]Designed for two arms at a time far more. Awkward to use one arm at a time with any meaningful weight. Not being able to use one arm at a time is one of the only flaws of this machine however. One other small gripe I have is The size of the chest upper stomach pad. It could be a bit large and little softer. I have noticed with say 2 45s one each side and above the machine causes me chest upper abdominal pain after working out with it. Larger surface area of the pad might help.
Answer #1 on June 14, 2020[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does this machine work the chest” style=”arrow”]This is a great machine for arms and shoulders , with putting your chest against the pad you get some chest but very little !
