Answer #1 on December 21, 2020[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does the machine need to be secured to the floor?” style=”arrow”]While the Body-Solid Pro Dual Cable Column Machine (model PDCC) does not need to be bolted down, in a commercial environment it is recommended to bolt the freestanding unit to the floor to protect the club for purposes of liability. This can be said about any tall machine involving a heavy weight stack which has the potential to be used aggressively by members. The machine does have pre-drilled holes on the base tabs for purpose of bolting to floor if so desired.
