(in width)?” style=”arrow”]4-7/8″
Answer #1 on August 19, 2019[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How much weight can i put on this machine. I was very disappointment by another machine I bought. I put 3 45’s on each side. Will it hold that?” style=”arrow”]That should not be an issue for this machine.
Answer #1 on June 19, 2018[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is the disengage/engage lever completely out of the way when the weightbearing middle piece is moving up and down or does it brush off a little?” style=”arrow”]No, the lever does not brush up or rub against anything while performing reps. Although, this calf machine is not a clubline series. It is most definitely commercial equipment that is built to last a lifetime for a home gym. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
Answer #1 on August 3, 2019[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Will it comfortably fit petite people too? I am 5’3 and have shorter arms and legs compared to most people” style=”arrow”]Yes I’m 6’4 and use it. My girlfriend is 5’2 and I can move it low enough for her!!
Answer #1 on October 16, 2018[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What sizes are the plates? and what kinds of plates?” style=”arrow”]This unit comes with a 1″ diameter weight horn – so you can use both standard weight plates (1″ diameter hole) or Olympic plates (2″ diameter hole).
Answer #1 on August 13, 2018[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the width of the entire foot plate from the farthest left edge to right?” style=”arrow”]16″
Answer #1 on August 6, 2019[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What size olympic adapter is appropriate, 8“ or 14“?” style=”arrow”]The 8 inch olympic adapter is long enough to slip onto the bar for holding the plates (so you will need two of these), which also provides sufficient space to hold the plates you might use. Just a FYI – I was not very pleased with the BodySolid adapters because the hex bolt did not work well on 2 of the 4 adapters I purchased. You may get a good pair from BodySolid
Answer #1 on March 29, 2016[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”After several heavy reps, is it hard to set the middle weightbearing piece back on the lever like most cheap seated calf machines?” style=”arrow”]No not at all!! Very, very smooth machine. I absolutely love it!
Answer #1 on August 9, 2019[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the max weight?” style=”arrow”]Per the manufacturer, the Body-Solid GSCR349 has a maximum recommended weight capacity of 300 pounds on the weight posts. There is no “user” weight capacity rating.
Answer #1 on June 3, 2016[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does the knee/support pad pivot backwards and forward?” style=”arrow”]Yes it does pivot back and forth.
Answer #1 on August 26, 2019[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Are the plate holders Olympic 2“ pegs or standard 1“ pegs?” style=”arrow”]They are 1″. You need to buy a pair of adapters.
