I also put some felt on the feet so I could scoot it around.
Answer #1 on October 11, 2020[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How many dumbbells can each shelf hold?” style=”arrow”]It’s hard to say exactly unless you know the precise weights you’re using. We’ve been able to get as many as 8 on each shelf but depending on the size/weight of each dumbbell you could likely fit a few more. We can probably give you a more exact answer if you have any idea of what style and what weight dumbbells you were planning on using
Answer #1 on April 5, 2017[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Will this rack hold the following pairs of rubber coated hex dumbbells: 35lbs/40lbs/45lbs/50lbs, if so.. also room for 55lbs?” style=”arrow”]The best fit for the GDKR100 is 5-40lb pairs for hex dumbbells.
Answer #1 on August 10, 2017[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I have a full set of onnit primal bells, has anyone used them with this rack? They have a bit of an odd shape” style=”arrow”]I haven’t used those bells specifically, but see no reason why they wouldn’t fit on the rack as long as you put it together with the flat sides of both platforms facing up.
Answer #1 on January 12, 2021[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the depth (front to back) of the kettlebell shelves?” style=”arrow”]The flat shelf is 11.5″ x 39.5″ I have 30 and 35 lb kettlebells sitting side by side with plenty of room for both
Answer #1 on January 14, 2015[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the distance between the bottom shelf and the floor (clearance)?” style=”arrow”]There is a small lip on it. So if you take that into account it is 11 3/4″ clearance. If you go all the way under it, it is more like 12 1/2″. Our largest 55lb kettlebell can easily slide underneath the lip. We use the shelves for the dumbbells.
Answer #1 on February 16, 2018[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How much total weight can it hold?” style=”arrow”]We have upwards of 325lbs on it now but I don’t feel that is its max. It is very sturdy and serves our home gym needs.
Answer #1 on January 21, 2014

Mine has over 600lbs of kettlebells on it
Answer #2 on January 21, 2014[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Did bodysolid change this kettlebell rack? I see customer photos with flat shelves. now they show one for dumbbells.” style=”arrow”]The shelves can flip – one side has L channels welded onto it to lock dumbbells into place. The other side is flat. Depends on how you assemble.
